Handcrafted from jatoba and ash, this stool came to life during an intensive woodworking course. It was my first time working with a planer, jointer, and bandsaw — every piece was milled, dimensioned, and fitted by hand.
The stool is assembled entirely with traditional joinery and glue, without a single metal fastener, and finished with a light coat of oil that brings out the warm, contrasting grain of the two woods.
